The Manchester United duo flourished at the start of the season alongside the likes of Romelu Lukaku and Marcus Rashford.
Pogba’s injury has slightly curtailed the Red Devils’ campaign but the French powerhouse is expected to return to action soon.
Ahead of his comeback, Pogba has heaped praise on his France team-mate Martial and is looking forward to starring alongside him again.
He said: "Anthony is a big, big, big talent.
“He’s a talented player – one of the best players I have ever seen or trained with.
“He is still young and is going to improve. He will improve a lot and you are going to see even more of Anthony, I’m sure."
Martial was recalled to Didier Deschamps' France squad for their upcoming friendlies against Wales and Germany.
The 21-year-old will be hoping to continue his fine club form while on international duty and secure a place in Les Bleus’ World Cup squad.
And Pogba, a stalwart of the French midfield when fit, is confident his United pal will be on the plane to Russia.
“I am sure as he is very good and had a great pre-season. Even during the start of the season, he helped the team a lot.”
United lost 1-0 to Chelsea before the international break leaving them eight points behind Premier League leaders Manchester City.
They must bounce back from their recent dip in form when they host Newcastle next weekend.
