Spain giant Real Madrid have confirmed that they travel to Espanyol on Tuesday evening with Cristiano Ronaldo.
The Portuguese star has re-found his form of late after struggling during the first half of the campaign.
Ronaldo missed Madrid's clash with Leganes last week but returned looking refreshed against Alaves on Saturday.
However, despite his brace in the 4-0 win, Tuesday morning's squad announcement confirmed Ronaldo will miss a second consecutive away fixture.
As the 33-year-old reaches the final years of his glittering career, Zinedine Zidane knows he must use his star man sparingly to keep him firing.
"I don't know how many years he went without stopping," the Madrid boss said this week.
"But now the moment has come where it's necessary for him and for everyone for him to not play from time to time."]
Ronaldo has scored eight times in his last two trips to Espanyol.
And his double at the weekend took him to 299 La Liga goals.
Marco Asensio is likely to fill the void left by Ronaldo this evening after recovering from having a wisdom tooth removed.
Meanwhile, club captain Sergio Ramos returns from suspension for the La Liga clash.
