SIMBA SC head coach Joseph Omong has revealed that his duo-holding midfielders Jonas Mkude and James Kotoi have showed competitive performance in the training, so anyone can appear in the first eleven squad on Sunday.

The time table shows that Simba will play against Mtibwa Sugar on Sunday at the Uhuru Stadium in Dar es Salaam, the match is much waited by fans as both giants’ starts the league in an impressive performance.

Simba placed themselves at the top of the table with 11 points after played five games won three, draw two and lose 0, and Mtibwa Sugar placed themselves at number two of the table after played five games, won three, draw two and lose 0 but accumulated narrow goals than Msimbazi street team.

Midfielders Jonas Mkude

Omog, who was former Azam FC head coach, said that he used to trust the Ghanaian player Kotei but in this week training Mkude has shown a wonderful performance which gives him a hard time to decides who will be at the first eleven.

“There is a lot of discussion in the media and from the fans about Mkude, but to me all are good players and I will use anyone depend on performance at the training.”

He said he have tried to put them in two different teams at the training ad all of them showed a unique performance. They hold ball and fighting when their teams lost ball to opposition.

“No any player who have an assurance of the number in my team but the one who played well in the training will be the choice,” Says Omong.

On his part, Mkude said he knows that Simba have a wide squad and that is the challenge to all players including him.

“I will fight to the last point that I will get the number in the first eleven team,that is my target, I know if I will fight well coach and all Simba fans will put hope to me, but also we will make sure that we win the 2017/18 premier league title,” Said Mkude.
