THE Simba SC and Ugandan striker Emmanuel Okwi has said he is fit after nursing injuries for more than one month, saying ready to return on the playing field in Tanzania.
Okwi faced injury at training when his national team was preparing to face Egypt in World Cup qualifying match.
The Ugandan striker has missed three Vodacom premier league matches but is still in the top of scorers sheet with 8 goals.
He said that he know how the battle is among him, Obrey Chirwa and Prisons striker in Mohamed Rashid in chasing the Golden boot.
Chirwa and Rashid both have six goals while Okwi has 8 goals.
“I am now free of pain which put me out of the pitch and now I will be back with new speed.
“What I look more is helping the team to win in every match and win trophies.
“Realy I need to be a best scorer but the race are tough as many strikers have many than 6 goals,” concluded Okwi.
