Taifa Stars squad will jet-off to West Africa tomorrow ready for the Saturday FIFA Calendar friendly match against Benin at Stade de l'Amitié Stadium.

Coach Salumu Mayanga has no doubt with his squad as they have trained well and players are with confidence and full of moral toward a friendly clash.

Mayanga told reporters on Wednesday morning during an one hour final training at Uhuru Stadium whereby all players were in high discipline.

Mayanga outlined that the squad will miss duo Tanzania internationals, KRC Genk Mbwana Samatta and Abdi Banda who is currently played in South African Premier League.

“We will miss Samatta and Banda who are all professional players. We miss two key players, that is a big gap to us, and that may even affect other players.

“Samatta is the  team captain, he always being a good leader and encourage other players,” said Mayanga.
