KRC Genk Striker Mbwana Samatta is continuing to step up his recovery from injury and is delving into a light gym training.
It’s almost four days since Tanzanian international undergone a minor surgery after enjoyed a superb start of the season, scored four goals in fourteen matches, but suffered a knee injury in the KRC Genk draw over Lokeren.
“I have started a light training today as doctor instructed. I am just do it slowly,” said Samatta in his Instagram account.
Samatta is in week one, out of six-week of nursing injury since November 4.
After medical check-up it was discovered that Samatta got fraction at the knee muscles hence undergo surgery.
Mbwana Samatta missed a 1-1 match of Taifa Stars against Benin last week, but the team have not been affected by his absence.
