The Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) competition committee has banned Singida United player Deus Kaseke and Green Warriors Shaban Dihile for three games each along with Tsh. 500,000/- fine.
TFF committee which met on Tuesday said the two showed unsportsmanlike behavior when the two teams faced each other on January 31, in Azam Sports federation Cup at Chamanzi Complex.
TFF Information Officer, Clifford Ndimbo outlined that Kaseke and Dihile were not with his team when it was entering to the ground and they were out of the pitch during the time when players from both sides were shaking hands.
Ndimbo added that the punishment is under ASFC regulation number 37 (7d).
Another Singida United player Kambale Salita was referred to disciplinary committee after hitting a Green Warriors player.
“The members of the executive committee will jet in Dar es Salaam from Friday and they will be accommodated at the Sea Scape hotel,” said Ndimbo.
