Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) has launched its election campaigns from today August 7 to August 11, with six-people vying to become the next president of the federation's governing body.
All the candidates are battling to get the support from voters because the federation is currently administered by the Vice President after its President and the Secretary General still behind bars accused of mismanagement of federation’s funds.
Vice President Wallace Karia kicked off his re-election campaign on Monday saying he is vying for the presidential post so as to improve the country’s football industry.
A member of the Electoral Committee, Revocatus Kuuli urged candidates to avoid using defamation language to their fellows’ candidates.
The candidates vie for president post include: Ally Mayay, Wallace Karia, Imani Madega, Shija Richard, Fredrick Mwakalebela and Emanuel Kimbe.
Vice-president post: Mulamu Nghambi, Michael Wambura, Mtemi Ramadhani, Stephen Mwakibolwa and Robert Selasela they will have campaign for 4 days to have a debate.
