Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) president Jamal Malinzi and other two accused people in the money laundering case, will remain in remand up to July 31 when the case will come again for hearing.
Today, Kisutu resident magistrate Wilbard Mashauri postponed the case after the prosecution team pleaded with the court for more time to complete investigations.
The TFF officials are answering 28 charges which include $375,418 money laundering, Forgery and uttering forged documents.
Malinzi who is separately accused on 27 accounts, is being accused with secretary of the federation Celestine Mwesigwa and accountant Nsiande Mwanga.
The duo was arrested by the Tanzania Prevention and combating of corruption Bureau (PCCB) on June 28 and due to this Malinzi was expelled from contesting the coming TFF elections as he did not report for the interviews before the panel.
