TFF: Copa Dar es Salaam Beach Cup slated to kick off this month

THE Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) has announced the new coming of beach soccer cup which will be known as Copa Dar es Salaam.

TFF Information and Communication Officer Alfred Lucas, said that the Copa Dar es Salaam is slated to kick-off on December 25-26 at  Coco Beach area, Oysterbay.

He also said that the body organ has already invited teams from Zanzibar, Malawi  and Uganda which will confirm their participation before December 12.

“The tournament will ve special for selecting the national team and preparing  for the coming international tournament.

“Still TFF is running beach soccer league which is in quarter final and it accumulated teams from local universities,” said Lucas

Quarter final, semi-final and final matches will be played on December 23 two days before Copa Dar es Salaam started.

Matches are DIT will play AMCET, IFM will host Harbert Kairuki, Ardhi University against CBE while TIA will face DSJ.

In FIFA ranking released on November 3, Tanzania placed at number 12 in Africa and 86 worldwide
