Tanzania Football Federation (TFF)’s Election Committee has announced the federation's general elections to be held in August 12, this year in Dodoma, at the nation’s capital city.
The big question here is whether the current TFF President Jamali Malinzi will win for the second time after the wonderful plans on his first term.
In Malinzi’s first term, Tanzania's Serengeti Boys qualify for the U-17 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) finals in Gabon.
Criteria’s for person vie for TFF President, Vice President
The position of President or Vice-President, a contending person must have the educational level of not less than a university degree as well capable of representing the federation to wherever on the planet.
Features for other positions including: contending persons must be citizens of Tanzania with educational level of not less than form four with reference to be in football for at least in five years.
The TFF democratic general elections are taking place after every four years.
The confederation’s presidential form is costing a contending person about Tsh 500,000/-, Tsh 300,000 for the Vice President, members of the executive committee will have to pay Tsh 200,000.
Various stakeholders have given their views on the upcoming TFF’s election, Ex-Young Africa FC midfielder, Ally Mayay alias ‘Tembele’ urged the coming President of Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) to take the country’s football to the next level.
“The upcoming President should have a plan of action to take Tanzanian football to the next level,” Mayay said.
