Just as it seemed as though Jose Mourinho and Paul Pogba's relationship was beginning to turn a corner, the bus they were on sharply reversed back and into a ditch.
Seemingly, that bus was en route to Old Trafford for The Red Devils' 1-1 draw with Wolves on Saturday.
It was during that clash against Wolves that Pogba lost possession by trying to do a clever turn that led to the visitors' equaliser before questioning his manager's tactics.
It was following that game Mourinho stripped the Frenchman of his vice-captaincy duties.
And it was a few days after the Wolves game that the United boss and Pogba had a rather frosty training ground exchange.

There are now fresh reports that something actually happened on the way to the Wolves fixture, which may explain when this latest fallout started.
According to The Daily Mail , Pogba left United's staff furious by blasting out music on the top deck of the team coach.

The coaches clearly felt the team should have been focusing on the task at hand, not distracted by the volume of music the 25-year-old had on.
It remains to be seen how Pogba and Mourinho's relationship will be resolved, but recent reports suggest the midfielder will seek a move away to Barcelona at the end of the season.
