Although it may only have been a friendly, but Tanzania’s Vodacom Premier League Champions Dar es Salaam Young African (Yanga) forced a goalless draw against Kinondoni Municipal Coucil (KMC) at Azam Complex Stadium.
It was KMC who produced a vastly-improved performance to have the better of a 0-0 draw with Premier League champions Yanga.
Yanga head coach George Lwandamina tested his players who failed to have regular chances to play in first eleven squad, where they showed him wrong.
After missing one match for the three yellow cards, Congolese midfielder Papy Tshishimbi performed a good game against a non VPL team, running all around the ground, attacks and many more. He proves he is an international player.
Speaking shortly after the clash, KMC Coach Fredy Felix Minziro conglatulates on his team’s performance as well as hailed Yanga’s administration for allowing such a friendly match.
The man of the match was KMC goalkeeper Yusuf Abdul after his absolutely saves he performed against Yanga strikers.
