The Township Rollers striker Motsholetsi Sikele who scored the second goal in Tuesday’s match against Yanga at the Tanzanian National Stadium said their opponents were weak in every department which makes them favorites to qualify for next round after the second leg.
Sikele’s goal came 8 minutes before stoppage time to win 2-1 and take a comfortable lead back home.
“I am very happy to score an away goal. It was an important goal for me and for my club.
“We came here for a draw or to win the game and we have won it and that makes the second leg easier to us as we will be playing at home,” he said.
At the same time, The Township Rollers coach, Nivola Kavazovic revealed that he will make sure his squad maintains the same level to make sure that they win in the second leg in Botswana.
Kavazovic also said he respect his opponents enough as they are one of a big name in African football but their goal is to qualify for the second leg.
“I have watched today’s opponents 10 times before coming to Dar es Salaam, I saw the different picture but the last picture was a draw or a win.
“We have the big end at the last 15 minutes and in football always the team with big end are teams that expect big results,” said Kavazovic.
