YOUNG Africans SC are likely to sign Togolese and Wallaita Ditcha FC Djako Arafat who did well in two legs that played in Dar es Salaam and Ethiopia.
Speaking the chairman of Young Africans registration committee Hussein Nyika confirmed that were in heavy discussions with Djako Arafat after the match.
“I was in heavy discussions with the striker (Djako) if agree we will sign him as you see has done well, he was disturbing player,” he said.
The 29 years old has done well in Ethiopia league after scoring 7 goals for the league and three goals for the Confederation Cup.
Waleita Ditcha has only DJako Arafat who is the international player as he scores the only goal in the second leg against Young Africans.
After arrived in Dar es Salaam Today Young Africans assistance head coach Shadrack Nsajigwa said that they believe this year will be doing well in the group stages after removing Walaita Ditcha FC.
“We believe that we will be doing well in the group stages, just we waiting for the teams that we will be scheduling together,” he said.
Young Africans will be travelling to Mbeya tomorrow for their game against Mbeya City at Sokoine Stadium in the continuations of Vodacom Premier League.
Yanga accumulated 47 points for the 22 games while Simba Led the table after attained 58 points with 55 goals.
