TANZANIAN soccer giants Yanga and Simba are locked in a fight for the signature of the Stand United defender Ally Ally during the coming transfer window.
Ally is one of Tanzania’s emerging talents in defense who has performed brilliantly in the league matches.
The defender marshaled his defense against the likes of Obrey Chirwa and Ibrahim Ajib, some of the leading attacking talents in the league when Yanga hosted Stand united Monday.
A source who preferred anonymity said the top management of the two teams has approached the player but Ally appears hell-bent to honor his contract with the current club.
“I have a contract with Stand United, the teams in need of my service should follow procedures. I will not come to an agreement with any of them if that is not done,” Ally was quoted as saying.
When contacted for comments regarding the player, Yanga and Simba Chairpersons said they will inform the public about the development.
For the two games that played at National Stadium Ally performed well against Simba in which Stand United drew 3-3 while lost 3-1 against Yanga SC.
