Yanga SC striker Amis Tambwe starts a light training with his team mates at Uhuru Stadium ahead of the Saturday match when Jangwani based club will host Mbeya City in an ongoing Vodacom Premier League.
Burundian striker who was nursing injury since the 2017/18 VPL seasons started, has missed all nine rounds due to knee fraction.
In today’s morning training, Tambwe was just jogging and doing other physical excises at the Uhuru stadium.
Another key player, Congolese Papy Tshishimbi didn’t appear at the training today after getting a serious Malaria.
Yanga team doctor, Edward Bavu outlined on the training that the players was in bed rest due to serious Illness.
“Pappy is nursing Maleria but we expect he will be back at training in few days to come, and hope he will play on weekend match.
“We decide to let him rest as even players who were with national teams for international debuts are yet not return,” said doctor.
Yanga will play Mbeya City at VPL round ten, looking for necessary 3 points after goalless draw at round nine when they play away against Singida United.
Mbeya City will be aggressive looking for three points after lost last home match against Simba.
