Tanzania Vodacom Premier League defending champion Dar Young Africans representing the country in the continental championship will play against Seychelles champions St Louis while missing 11 key players who are on injuries.
The Jangwani based giants will be without the services of their experienced strikers Amis Tambwe, Donald Ngoma and Yohana Mkomola with knee injuries.
Other players who will not be available are Youthe Rostand, Andrew Vicent, Pato Ngonyani, Thabani Kamusoko, Abdallah Shaibu, Juma Abdul and Haji Mwinyi.
But Yanga Information Officer appeared to be in a buoyant mood when quizzed by the Azania Post reporter about the prospects of his side progressing from the preliminary round.
“We have a very good team and everyone can fight for it to make sure that we win every game, as you saw when we played against Azam FC, they fought to the end,” he said.
“We are going to international competition, coaches and staff are in a brilliant mood proving that they will win on Saturday,” he added.
St. Louis arrived in the country on Tuesday ready for the encounter against the Tanzanian champions at the National Stadium.
The Seychelles champions lost their last match against Yanga - when they met a few years ago by a suffering a 7–2 drubbing.
