Dar es Salaam Young Africa Head Coach George Lwandamila has praised his team's "remarkable" performance in beating Singida United 3-1 on Saturday at a preseason friendly match.
The coach said he is happy that his charges played well during the game against singida United,
He said the game has helped him to assess his charges ahead of the coming vodacom premier league and other games.
The Zambian trainer said what remains from him are final touches on his squad.
"Am happy with the way my players played, am sure they are ready for the games in the league, what it remains are some few touches, “said the coach.
The team is tomorrow expected to travel to Pemba for camp, to prepare for their community charity shield against Donna.
"We will drill the team in Pemba, the team is good but it lacks some other things which are essential like combination "he said.
His counterpart, Hans Van Plujim said the friendly game against Yanga has helped him to have a glimpse of his squad.
"In short am happy with the way my players played, I think by the time the league's kicks off we will be ready "he said.
Singida United are expected to play other international games.
