YANGA SC has signed JKU midfielder Faisal Salum who was reportedly attracted Dar es Salaam soccer giants after showing a brilliant performance in Mapinduzi Cup.
Salum signed a three-year contract and he will join the Jangwani based team at the end of the season.
While Yanga signs the midfielder, their rivals Simba SC had already contacted JKU top management requesting for the services of the player. But amazingly Yanga has signed him in their ignorance.
He signed the contract in front of Samuel Lukumay who is Yanga’s Executive committee member and chair of club’s competition committee.
“I talked to both Simba and Yanga officials the time we were thrown out out of Mapinduzi Cup, but I felt better sign Yanga,” he said.
Salum played as a midfielder position when JKU played Yanga at Mapinduzi Cup and left Yanga’s Papy Kabamba Tshishimbi inactive most of time.
